Camping as a group Many of the families that have confirmed they are going to camp.
In 2015, the EAA staked out campsites in a "compound" for the B-25 Volunteers from Colorado. They will be doing the same thing in 2016. There will be additional details with contact info for arrival at the campground much closer to the trip.
Volunteering at the B25 in KidVenture KidVenture is open daily from 9-3:30. During these times, we will need to have our Aviators and their families volunteering to demo the B25.
We will split the day into 2 shifts. We have not determined how many people we need for each shift but we do know we can't over staff!
A sign up link for shifts will be sent out closer to the event.
Hint: Volunteers get lunch and free admission to the airshow the following day.
Admission Info Admission rates for 2016 can be found here but volunteering with the B25 will ensure you don't need to buy these tickets.
There are two night airshows, on Wednesday and Saturday. Make sure to catch one of them - the "vets" say they are spectacular.
Daily afternoon airshows @ 2 p.m.
EAA Museum - a must see!
KidVenture - DUH! - don't forget to spend time in KidVenture as a visitor not a volunteer
Check back frequently! We are going to try keep updates on things that have been added to the 2016 Schedule - it's empty right now but it will fill up with forums, classes, events, presenters, and special guest visits/shows.
